Risk Matrix 2000 Course (RM2K)
Attendance criteria
This course is primarily for police officers and staff employed, or who have been selected for employment, in a jigsaw unit. Although some officers or staff in the intelligence unit, or similar roles, may benefit. It is normally incorporated within the 10 day MOSAVO Course.
Course aim
To provide the student with the skills and knowledge to enable them to undertake risk assessments for relevant sex offenders, falling within the Multi-Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA).
Course objectives
The student will be able to:
- Effectively apply the Risk Matrix 2000 system to relevant sex offenders in accordance with standard operating procedures for the management of sex offenders
