University Qualifications
The Leadership Academy are developing links with a number of universities that offer courses of study relevant to MPS managers. Most lead to higher education awards, such as certificates, diplomas and degrees, including postgraduate (masters) degrees.
Follow the links on the right to find out more about the opportunities available, which have been selected for their relevance to leading within the MPS context. More options will be added over time as negotiations progress, eventually offering a number of different options at locations in and around London.
Look for the overview and frequently asked questions (FAQ) pages to help you to decide which course of study is most appropriate for your needs, for example regarding study location or level of academic challenge. If you think you might be interested in enroling for one of these courses you should email the named contact at the university.
Feedback or MPS-related queries should be emailed to emma.hamilton@met.police.uk at the Leadership Academy.
Study Support
The key to securing help is to link the proposed study programme to MPS and local priorities and to your own current and future performance.
Remember that you should always seek local support through your line manager in the first instance.
You should also visit the Career Management Unit web site for further guidance regarding financial support and study leave.
Good luck
